Breakfast Club – from 8.00am every morning

Children can be dropped off at school any time from 8:00am. They’ll enjoy activities and breakfast of toast or cereal before school starts.  Please note that we cannot guarantee availability of this club without 24 hours notice.

After School Cuckoo Club – every day, until 5.15pm

Additionally, our activities, over each month will cover a wide range of interests including arts and craft, sports, outdoor play, film reviews, Lego, board games and ICT. Our main aim is for everyone to have fun, but along the way children will be learning new skills and developing friendships.

Please note that we are looking to extend Cuckoo Club to 5:45pm Monday to Thursday in September 2025, and 5:15pm on a Friday. Please contact the school office for further information.

After School Clubs and Activities

We run a rich and varied programme of clubs. Some are run by staff, others are run by parent volunteers and we also have a number of qualified coaches who run some of our sports clubs.  Clubs may be signed up for via MCAS at the beginning of each term.  It is a great way for children to try out different things and to work with children from different age groups. We aim to keep the cost of the clubs to a minimum and many are free.  Some external club providers will liaise directly with parents for payment.

  • After school clubs generally run from 3.15pm at the end of school for 1 hour.
  • Lunchtime clubs run from 12.30 – 1pm.

A register is taken at the start of each club. Please ensure that you inform us by email if your child has to miss a club for any reason. Parents should wait outside the school’s main entrance for children to be dismissed to them at the end of their club.

EYFS children are given the opportunity to join after school clubs in the Summer Term.

Some clubs are run by parents.  If you interested in sharing your skills in this way, please speak to the school office.  The school is very grateful for the way that staff and volunteers give their time to support our exciting range of clubs in this way.
