Oare C of E Primary PTA is a committee of parents who organise fundraisers and social events, to the benefit of the school, as well as providing opportunities for memorable community events for all. We aim to enrich the experience of our children by fundraising for equipment and experiences that go above and beyond what the school budget can provide.
We are currently working towards a new project that we are actively fundraising for and are already making progress toward: A Covered Canopy area in the school playground. If you’d like to contribute, please use the link below:
How can you get involved?
First and foremost, every parent is part of the Oare C of E Primary School PTA. You do not have to have an official role in order to be part of the PTA. The PTA committee are elected each year at the AGM in September and hold meetings every half term to plan the year’s fundraising events. All parents and carers are welcome at the PTA meetings, you do not have to be a committee member to attend.
To support our PTA, you could:-
- Volunteer your time at events such as cake sales, Sports Day, Film Nights, School Discos, School Fairs and other events. You can help at one event or ten – whatever you time you can spare is helpful! We are all parents and know that it’s hard to commit to extra activities
- Bake for or buy from our cake sales – or both!
- Join the committee
- Come along to meetings, without the commitment of becoming a committee member.
- Donate prizes to our raffles and tombola stalls.
- Sign up to Easy Fundraising – Easy Fundraising partners with over 7,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend to our School funds. You could use it to do your weekly online supermarket shop.
- Take part in the school lottery – Tickets are just £1 per week with a top prize of £25,000 Guaranteed winner for each school every Saturday which is drawn on a raffle basis, so there are two chance to win a prize
- Buy Stikins name labels – The School earns 30% when you buy labels through Stikins. Just enter the school code at the check out 14821
